## How it works

1. **Copy the story link**: Open the story, tap the three dots and choose *Copy link*. In some versions it sits under *Share*.
2. **Paste it above**: We load the whole story, so you don't have to paste every slide one by one.
3. **Save what you want**: Videos save as MP4, photos as JPG. Pick one or take them all.

## Small tool, no catches

- **Anonymous viewing**: Your own Instagram account is never used, so your name can't appear among the viewers.
- **Highlights included**: The circles pinned under a profile work the same way as today's stories.

## How to download Instagram stories

Open the story in the Instagram app, tap the three dots (or *Share*) and choose *Copy link*. Paste the link into the box above. Every photo and video in that story appears with its own download button.

## How to save Instagram stories on iPhone and Android

On iPhone, tap a download button in Safari and the file goes to Files → Downloads; open it and use Share → *Save Video* or *Save Image* to put it in Photos. On Android the file lands in Downloads and appears in your gallery on its own.

## Story links and highlight links

A story link looks like instagram.com/stories/username/ followed by a long number. Highlights use instagram.com/stories/highlights/ and a number. Both work here, and both bring back the full set.

## Why private accounts don't work

Private accounts only show stories to approved followers. We are not one of them and never will be, so those stories stay private.
