How to download Instagram stories
Open the story in the Instagram app, tap the three dots (or Share) and choose Copy link. Paste the link into the box above. Every photo and video in that story appears with its own download button.
How to save Instagram stories on iPhone and Android
On iPhone, tap a download button in Safari and the file goes to Files → Downloads; open it and use Share → Save Video or Save Image to put it in Photos. On Android the file lands in Downloads and appears in your gallery on its own.
Story links and highlight links
A story link looks like instagram.com/stories/username/ followed by a long number. Highlights use instagram.com/stories/highlights/ and a number. Both work here, and both bring back the full set.
Why private accounts don't work
Private accounts only show stories to approved followers. We are not one of them and never will be, so those stories stay private.

How can I download Instagram stories anonymously?

Will the person see that I viewed their story?
No. Your name can't show up in their viewer list because you never log in here.
Can I download Instagram highlights?
Yes. Copy the highlight link (instagram.com/stories/highlights/…) and paste it like a normal story.
Why do I get several files from one link?
A story link covers the account's whole current story, so we list every item. Download the ones you want.
Does a story keep its music when downloaded?
Video stories keep the sound recorded in them. Music stickers added to photo stories are not part of the image file.
Can I paste just a username?
Not yet. Open one of their stories and copy that link instead.
